I believe one-on-one tuition provides the best results as opposed to small classes. I cater for you and your needs.
Tutoring online has come a long way over the past 10 years with the advent of Zoom and the use of online whiteboards.
Students are at different levels of learning, therefore some students may feel they have been left behind while others feel they need more of a challenge.
If you say you would like a specific time each week, excluding holidays, sickness etc, you are not required to prepay or pay for a session if it is not attended.
Ever since leaving high school I have tutored maths in some capacity. In some instances while at university I would tutor up to 15 hours a week.
I work from home so I can cater for most times, including weekends, during the day and of course after school hours.
Our mission is to turn the students of today into adults with a career that is challenging and rewarding.
Since leaving high school I have continued to tutor students each year. It may be a couple due to other commitments or it may be many. In 2008 I tutored 30 students a week for 12 weeks as part of the Federal Government’s ‘Even Start Program’. This was the first year Naplan was introduced and tuition was provided to those students who struggled with the exam.
The advantage of being a tutor is giving a student a better perspective of what a good mathematics education can provide you. School teachers do a great job and there is only so much time they can dedicate to teaching students. I like to give students an idea of how mathematical concepts are used in an employment situation. It has many applications in so many professions.
In my time I have met a lot of people and have developed positive relationships with them. It’s great when you run in to a parent or an ex student and see how they’re going.
